Two held with firearm in Faridpur

The arrested are identified as Foysal and Nazrul, from Purba Tepakhola area in the city.

Additional Superintendent of Police in Faridpur Shoilen Chakma confirmed the detention, adding they raided in the residence of Foysal following a complaint lodged by his elder sister. The complaint reads that Foysal pointed a firearm on the forehead of his sister during an altercation between them.
Later, police recovered the firearms from an abandoned place adjacent to his house on late Friday night and arrested the duo on Friday afternoon, he said.

A releavent case will filed in this regard against the duo and legal actions will be taken in this regard, added the ASP.
