The accident took place around 12 PM on the Jashore-Benapole highway near a fuel station in Gazir Dargah area in the upazila.
The deceased, identified as Bulu Mia, 50, was a pedestrian and son of Hafizur Rahman from Gazir Dargah area.

Among the injured, the bus driver, whose identity is yet to be confirmed, and a motorcyclist, Mohammad Sohel, 28, sustained severe injuries.
