Man found dead in Sylhet pond

Police recovered the body of an unidentified man from a waterbody at Jaintiapur upazila in Sylhet on Saturday.
Jaintiapur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Bashar Mohammad Badruzzaman said that acting on information from locals, police retrieved the body from South Sarighat area in Sarighat bazaar around 12 PM on Saturday. However, the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Police are working to know the identity, he added.
