A college student was killed in a road accident on the Teknaf-Cox's Bazar Marine Drive in Ukhiya upazila of Cox's Bazar district on Saturday morning.
Sajid Kabir (19), a college student, tragically lost his life in a road accident on the Teknaf-Cox’s Bazar Marine Drive in Ukhiya on Saturday morning.
The deceased, Sajid Kabir, 19, a resident of Nayapara village in Teknaf and son of Kabir Ahmed, was a former student of Cox's Bazar Government High School and an SSC graduate of 2024. He was currently pursuing his education at Milestone College in Dhaka.
According to locals, the accident occurred around 11:00 AM near the Inani Marine Drive road, adjacent to the beach when Sajid's motorcycle crashed, resulting in his immediate death at the scene. Another passenger riding with him sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Police sources confirmed the death, adding that the body has been sent to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
