Train movement on Dhaka-M'singh route suspended

The engine malfunction of a Netrokona-bound train has halted the rail communication on Dhaka-Mymensingh route on Sunday.

The engine of the train went out of order near Dhala station in Mymensingh around 2 PM on Sunday.

Mymensingh Rail Station superintendent Nazmul Haque Khan said that the Netrokona-bound 'Mohua Commuter Train' left Dhaka's Kamalapur Station in the morning. But the engine of the train went out of order around 2 PM, while heading towards Netrokona's Mohonganj, he said.

A relief train from Kewatkhali Loco Shade of Mymensingh was on the way to the spot, he added.
