One arrested with Phensidyl in Joypurhat special operation

A drug dealer was arrested in a special operation in Joypurhat's Sadar upazila on Monday morning.

The Detective Branch (DB) arrested the dealer along with 50 bottles of Phensidyl at Uttar Sheikhpur village ofDhalahar union under Sadar Police Station.
The arrested was Mostafizur Rahman alias Mamidul alias Fiju, 21, of Uchna Sonatala village under Panchbibi upazila.

Joypurhat District Police Detective Branch (DB) Officer-in-Charge Md Asaduzzaman said that based on a tip-off, DB members led by DB SI Mizanur Rahman Mizan conducted a drive at Uttar Sheikhpur village under Dhalahar union in the early morning. At that time, the drug dealer was arrested along with 50 bottles of Phensidyl.

The OC said that a case has been filed against the arrested with Joypurhat Sadar Police Station under the Narcotics Control Act.
