Forex reserves stand at US$32.44b

Bangladesh’s foreign exchange reserves have reached US$32.44 billion, according to the latest figures from Bangladesh Bank.

However, under International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) BPM6 methodology, which follows the Balance of Payments and International Investment Position standards, the country’s reserves stand at US$27.85 billion, Bangladesh Bank reported on Thursday.
