SAFF Women’s Futsal champions land in Dhaka, victory parade kicks off

Bangladesh women’s futsal team landed in Dhaka at around 6:15 PM on Thursday with the SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship trophy, sparking scenes of celebration as the official victory parade began.

The parade kicked off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and is set to conclude at the Hatirjheel Amphitheatre.

The champions sealed the title with a dominant 14–2 demolition of the Maldives, finishing the tournament unbeaten.

Skipper Sabina Khatun led from the front, ending as top scorer with 14 goals and guiding Bangladesh to their maiden SAFF futsal crown.

Fans lined the route as the historic triumph was celebrated across the capital.
