At least 47 people were injured in separate clashes between BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami supporters during election campaigns in three constituencies across Naogaon, Bhola, and Kushtia.

According to local sources, a clash occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Makhna Komolgota village of Hasaigari Union in Naogaon Sadar Upazila between the supporters of the two parties. At least 10 people were injured in the incident. Following the clash, both BNP and Jamaat held separate press conferences, blaming each other for the violence.

BNP president Nannu accused Jamaat of violating the code of conduct and attacking party workers during the press conference. Later in the evening, Jamaat candidate Sayem countered the allegations, claiming that BNP had orchestrated attacks on their supporters.

Meanwhile, in Daulatkhan Upazila of Bhola-2 constituency, at least 30 people were injured in clashes during election campaigning. The incident took place around 11:30pm on Tuesday in Munshirhat Bazar of Medua Union. Police, Navy, and Coast Guard personnel, under the supervision of the Executive Magistrate, later brought the situation under control.

In another incident in Kushtia-4 (Kumarkhali-Khoksa) constituency, at least seven people were injured in clashes over election campaigning. The violence occurred Wednesday morning at Mashalia Bazar in Khoksa Upazila. Among the injured, three BNP supporters and four Jamaat supporters were admitted to Khoksa Upazila Health Complex.
