Over 250,000 Ansar-VDP men deployed for election duty

 
Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (Ansar-VDP) has undertaken comprehensive, technology-based preparations nationwide to ensure a free, fair, and peaceful 13th national parliamentary election and referendum.

As part of these efforts, an election preparatory rally was held in Bogura, drawing on-site participation from local units and virtual participation via a giant screen from Rangpur, Dinajpur, and Nilphamari districts. Nearly 250,000 newly trained members were involved.

Addressing the rally as chief guest, Director General of Ansar-VDP Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud called on members to perform their state-assigned duties with professionalism, neutrality, and integrity. "Unity, honesty, and professionalism are the most effective means to counter disinformation," he said, responding to allegations of 'election engineering' and misuse of the force by vested quarters.
