A court has ordered investigators to submit their report in the murder case of Inquilab Mancha Convenor Sharif Osman Hadi by Feb 19.

The report was due to be submitted on Sunday. However, the investigation officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police of Criminal Investigation Department Abdur Qadir Bhuiyan, was unable to do so. Therefore, Additional Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Jashita Islam ordered the submission of the report by Feb 19, said Sub-Inspector Ruknuzzaman of the Prosecution Department. The Detective Branch (DB) police filed a charge sheet on Jan 6, accusing 17 people in the Hadi murder case. But Inquilab Mancha is not satisfied with the charge sheet. The case was set for a hearing on Jan 12. The plaintiff in the case, Abdullah Al Jaber, asked for two days to review the charge sheet that day.
