IFIC Bank, Cumilla City Corporation ink MoU for citizen services

IFIC Bank PLC has entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cumilla City Corporation with a view to enhancing citizen services, improving efficiency in service delivery, and extending modern banking services to the doorstep of the people.

The MoU was signed at a ceremony held at the Atindra Mohan Roy Conference Room of Cumilla City Corporation recently, says a press release. 

In the presence of Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Credit Officer of the Bank, the agreement was signed on behalf of IFIC Bank PLC by Mr. Helal Ahmed, Chief of Branch Business andon behalf of Cumilla City Corporation, the Mr. Md. Shah Alam, Honourable Administrator of the Corporation and Additional Secretary to the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

Also present at the ceremony were Mr. Md. Farid Al Mahmud, Regional Head & Branch Manager ofCumilla, on behalf of IFIC Bank PLC, and Mr. Mohammad Mamun, Chief Executive Officer, on behalf of Cumilla City Corporation, along with other officials from both organizations.

Under the agreement, citizens of Cumilla district will now be able to pay all taxes and fees related to Cumilla City Corporation through IFIC Bank PLC. This initiative is expected to make the service delivery process more seamless, transparent, and efficient. 

IFIC Bank PLC believes that such collaborative initiatives will play an important role in modernizing citizen services, advancing financial inclusion, and expanding technology-enabled public service delivery.
