2 children die with measles symptoms in Bandarban

Two children have died in Bandarban's Alikdom with measles-like symptoms.

Meanwhile, there were reports of six children being hospitalised, Upazila Health Centre resident medical officer Dr Md Hasan confirmed.

According to the local sources, last week, rashes were found in some children's bodies in the area.

Md Hasan said, ''Currently, six children, with measles-like symptoms, are undergoing treatment at the hospital. Of those, two are Bengalis.''
