20 meritorious students felicitated in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, Apr 17: Twenty meritorious students who passed the 2025 Junior Scholarship Examination have been felicitated at Swarnakoli High School hall in the district on Monday morning.

Gopalganj-2 Constituency MP Dr K M Babar was present as the chief guest at the event while Deputy Commissioner (DC) and President of the school Md Arif-uz-Zaman chaired it.

In his speech, the chief guest said that the students of the current generation are the future of the country. Their success will be an inspiration for others. He urged the students to contribute to the country by being educated in moral education.

Superintendent of Police Md Habibullah, Zilla Parishad Administrator Sharif Rafiquzzaman, Additional DC (General) and Municipality Administrator S M Tarek Sultan spoke as special guests at the function. Additional DC (Education and ICT) Shobhan Sarkar and Head Teacher Kartik Chandra Sikder also spoke at the time.
