Tangail Zilla Parishad donates financial grants

TANGAIL, Apr 28: Organized by the Tangail Zilla Parishad, cheques worth over Tk 29 lakh were distributed among 122 institutions at the Zilla Parishad Hall Room on Monday.

Zilla Parishad Executive Officer Shamshun Nahar Swapna chaired the event and Zilla Parishad Administrator Advocate SM Obaidul Haque Nasir was present as the chief guest.

During the event, 122 institutions each received Tk 20,000 totalling Tk 24.40 lakh and 21 helpless patients received Tk 4.90 lakh cheques.

At the event, Zilla Parishad Administrator Advocate SM Obaidul Haque Nasir said that such activities will continue on behalf of the government to improve the living standards of the backward people of the society and to stand by the helpless and distressed people.

Among others, Zilla Parishad Assistant Engineer Shakib Ibne Matin, Accountant SM Tariqul Hasanat and officials from various organisations were present.
