Iran President Masoud Pezeshkian has lashed out at the US naval blockade, calling the siege of Iranian ports "intolerable."

He warned that the move amounts to an "extension of military operations", reports Al Jazeera.

"The world has witnessed Iran's tolerance and peace-seeking nature. What is currently taking place under the title of a naval blockade is the extension of military operations against a nation that is merely paying the price for its steadfastness and independence. The continuation of this unjust approach is intolerable," Pezeshkian wrote on X.
