Prez to leave for UK for medical check-up on Saturday

President Mohammed Shahabuddin is scheduled to leave Dhaka for the United Kingdom on Saturday morning for a medical check-up.

According to the President’s Press Wing, a Biman Bangladesh Airlines commercial flight carrying the President, his wife Dr Rebeka Sultana and a small entourage will depart from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the morning.

The president is expected to undergo medical examinations at a specialised hospital in London on the advice of physicians.

He is scheduled to return to the country on May 17, the press wing added.
