CUET holds 143rd syndicate meeting

The 143rd Syndicate Meeting of Chattogram University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) was held on Thursday at the university’s Syndicate Room.

CUET Syndicate Chairman and Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan presided over the meeting.

Among others, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering Prof Dr Kazi Delwar Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Planning Prof Dr Muhammad Rashidul Hasan, Chattogram Divisional Commissioner Dr Md Ziauddin and Director of the Institute of River, Harbor and Environmental Science Prof Dr Asiful Haque attended the meeting.

Director of the Institute of Information and Communication Technology Prof Dr Mohammad Mashiul Haque and Jahangirnagar University Computer Science and Engineering Department Prof Dr Mohammad Zahidur Rahman were also present.

The meeting was attended by Chittagong University Prof Dr Md Sekandar Chowdhury, retired Director General (TSC) and DMD (BTBL) Engineer Khan Ataur Rahman, Chattogram Education Board Chairman Prof Abdullah Al Mamun Chowdhury, CUET Prof Dr Sunil Dhar and Prof Dr Mohammad Mostafa Kamal.

BUET Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department Prof Dr Md Aynal Haque and Additional Secretary (Universities) of the Secondary and Higher Education Division Alif Rudaba joined the meeting virtually.

CUET Registrar (Additional Duty) Prof Dr Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir served as member secretary of the meeting.
