MPO teachers can apply for transfers again

The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has reopened applications for transfers of MPO-listed teachers working at private schools and colleges, with applications accepted until Sunday.

According to a DSHE notice issued on Saturday, the application process will remain open from September 12 to 13. The notice has also been displayed on the transfer application dashboard.

Only teachers whose information was corrected in the second phase will be eligible to apply. Teachers who applied in the first phase will not be allowed to submit a new application or amend their previous applications in the second phase.

The DSHE has also issued instructions to heads of educational institutions. The process of sending institutional information, including teacher details and vacancy lists, for verification at the upazila and zonal levels has been temporarily suspended.

As the teacher transfer application process is underway, institutions will not be able to send information for verification at present. The concerned heads of institutions will be notified when the verification process resumes.

DSHE Director General Professor Dr Khan Moinuddin Al Mahmud Sohel said the authorities plan to complete the transfer formalities within two to three days after the application process ends.

“There is no plan to delay the process even for a moment. Teachers will be transferred as quickly as possible,” he said.
