Woman found dead in Feni

FENI, May 14: Police have recovered the body of an expatriate's wife buried in sand from their under-construction building in Chochna Village of Sharshadi Union in Feni Sadar Upazila on Tuesday night. 

Relatives claim that the killer buried her body in sand after killing her.

The deceased Reena Akhter, 28, was the wife of expatriate Manik Uddin of the village.

According to relatives and local sources, Reena Akhter went to the under-construction building in the afternoon and did not return. 

At one stage of the search, her younger son went to the spot and saw a construction worker named Saiful Islam running away.

On information, a police team recovered the body, and after preparing an inquest, sent it to the Feni General Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
