The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) and Akij Air officially signed an agreement on Thursday for the Bangladesh national football team's official travel partner for San Marino tour.

The signing ceremony was held at the conference room of the BFF Bhaban.

Under the agreement for the San Marino tour, Akij Air will manage travel arrangements for the Bangladesh contingent. The company will determine the most suitable travel routes and provide tickets to the federation at cost-effective rates.

Speaking at the agreement signing ceremony, BFF vice-president Fahad Karim said travel agencies generally provide commissions or discounts on tickets, but Akij Air would offer additional concessions beyond the standard benefits, making the partnership financially beneficial for the federation.

He added that the agreement would cover the 34-member Bangladesh contingent travelling to San Marino.
The current agreement between BFF and Akij Air is limited to the San Marino tour and has not yet been extended into a long-term partnership.

Akij Air chief commercial officer Daraz Mahmud said the Akij Group has been operating successfully for many years and expressed satisfaction at becoming associated with football, while hoping for broader cooperation in the future.
Bangladesh will play a historic FIFA

Tier-1 international friendly match against San Marino on June 5, in San Marino.     "BSS
