PM to attend 3 events on Eid Day

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to participate in three major events on Thursday to mark the celebration of Eid-ul-Azha.

The Prime Minister’s day will begin at the National Eidgah in the capital, where he will join the primary Eid congregation at 7:30 am, according to Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman.

Following the morning prayers, the Premier will travel to Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. There, he will visit the graves of his parents"the late President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia"to pay his respects and offer Fateha.

After completing his visit to the gravesites, the Prime Minister will return to his private residence in Gulshan.

In the afternoon, the Prime Minister is slated to attend the traditional "Borokhana" (grand feast) at Dhaka Cantonment. The event is being hosted by the armed forces in honor of the religious festival.
