Following the defeat against India, the Bangladesh women's national football team skipped on-field training and observed a full recovery day at their team hotel in Goa on Monday.

As part of the recovery programme, the players completed ice-bath sessions at the hotel in the morning.

The team was also scheduled to hold a meeting during which the coaching staff would review the match against India and discuss key tactical aspects ahead of the upcoming semi-final.

According to team officials, all players are in good health and no injuries have been reported within the squad.

Bangladesh will resume training on Tuesday at the Bambolim Athletic Stadium as preparations continue for the semi-final clash against Nepal women's national football team.

In a video message, goalkeeping coach Masud Ahmad said: "After the defeat against India, we are discussing individually with the players and trying to help them understand their problems. I hope the girls will fight back in the next match against Nepal." The goalkeeping coach acknowledged that Bangladesh's game plan against India did not work as expected, which ultimately contributed to the defeat.

Bangladesh will face Nepal in the semi-final of the SAFF Women's Championship on Wednesday (June 3) at 4:30 pm Bangladesh time.    "BSS
