'Central theme of this year's budget is inclusion of every citizen'

Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury has said that the goal of the upcoming budget is to establish 'a welfare state'.

While responding to journalist on Thursday morning about the budged, he said, ''The budget has been formulated with the objective of ensuring that the benefits of economic growth reach everyone. It has been designed to lay the foundation stone for establishing a welfare state.''

''The central theme of this year's budget is the inclusion of every citizen. It has been prepared while keeping the nation in mind, every person in Bangladesh in mind and with the welfare of the people and the country at its core.''
