NU holds meet with ACU delegation

GAZIPUR, June 12: A meeting between the National University (NU) and a delegation from the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) was held at the NU City Office, Dhaka on Wednesday.

The ACU delegation was led by its Secretary General and Chief Executive Officer Professor Colin Riordan, and was accompanied by Ikita Pokhran, Membership Engagement Lead for South Asia.

On behalf of the NU, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr ASM Amanullah, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Registrar Molla Mahfuz Al Hossain, Communications Expert Gautam Barua and Director (Acting) of the International Desk Raj bin Qasim were present.

The discussions focused on competency-based teacher training and professional development, technical assistance, capacity building activities, and other academic support initiatives through which ACU can provide support to the NU.
