Four people were found dead in Naogaon, Khulna and Dinajpur districts on Wednesday.
NAOGAON: Police have recovered the body of a teacher near the railway line of Shahagola railway station in Atrai Upazila of the district on Wednesday morning.
Deceased Neyamul Bashir, 48, was a resident of Par Naogaon Chakramchandra Mahalla in Naogaon town, and a teacher at Barashimla Women's College in Atrai.
The deceased’s brother Mizanur Rahman said that Neyamul was supposed to return home after Isha prayers. He alleged that he was returning to Naogaon town from Atrai railway station area in a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw. Mizanur Rahman alleged that Neyamul Bashir was killed due to previous enmity.
PAIKGACHA, KHULNA: The hanging body of a man was recovered from Uttar Salua Village of Paikgacha Upazila of the district on Wednesday morning.
Deceased Ziarul Majlish, 40, was the son of late Nawab Ali Majlish and a resident of the village.
According to local sources, relatives and locals found him hanging from a rope in front of his house on Wednesday morning. On information, the police recovered the body and started the initial investigation.
According to family and local sources, it is believed that he committed suicide.
Police said that the necessary legal process and investigation are ongoing to uncover the real cause of the incident.
NAWABGANJ, DINAJPUR: Police recovered the body of a housewife from the mango orchard of Sekender in Pachgachhi Village of Daudpur Union in Nawabganj Upazila of the district on Wednesday.
The deceased Rupali Rani, 35, was the wife of Arun of the same village.
Upon receiving the news, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Nawabganj-Birampur Circle) Harez Uddin, Nawabganj PS OC Abdul Quddus and Investigation Officer Shamim Al Mamun visited the scene.
BIROL, DINAJPUR: The police have recovered the hanging body of a young man from a mango tree in the garden adjacent to the local Runia graveyard in Runia Village of Azimpur Union No. 1 in Birol Upazila of the district early Wednesday.
Deceased Rabbi Islam, 21, was the son of Md Azizul Islam of the village.
A local resident Md Sabuj Ali, son of Md Shahjahan Ali saw the body. As he screamed, other local people came to the spot and took Rabbi Islam down from the tree and found that he had died. Being informed, the police went there and prepared an inquest of the body. As of noon, the next legal action was under process.
