S’ganj cop launches tree planting

SIRAJGANJ, June 19: As part of the nationwide tree plantation campaign announced by the Prime Minister, the Sirajganj Police Department has inaugurated a tree plantation campaign. 

On Thursday morning, Superintendent of Police (SP) Saiful Islam Santu inaugurated the campaign by planting a mango and guava sapling in front of the Sirajganj SP office. 

The district police said that 2,000 fruit trees will be planted in 11 police stations of Sirajganj in phases. Additional SP Asaduzzaman, Md Hafizur Rahman and various levels of district police officers and employees were present at the event.
