New Panchagarh SP meets journalists

PANCHAGARH, June 19: New Superintendent of Police (SP) of Panchagarh Md Abu Saim exchanged views with journalists in the conference room of Panchagarh SP office on Thursday afternoon.

At that time, SP Abu Saim expressed his determination to further improve the overall law and order situation in the district, ensure public safety and work together to maintain cordial relations with the journalists. 

Assuring to fulfill the highest responsibility for the safety of the people of Panchagarh keeping in mind the three principles of professionalism, service and honesty, he said that the positive and responsible role of the media is very important in maintaining peace and order, suppressing crime and ensuring the safety of common people. 

At that time, Panchagarh Press Club President Mosharraf Hossain, General Secretary Sarkar Haider and media workers made various questions and gave suggestions. The SP answered these questions and took the suggestions into consideration.

Additional SPs Sifat Rabbani and Farhad Hossain and about 50 media workers were present in the meeting.
