Dear Sir,
Drug addiction is not only a health issue but also a social, moral, and economic challenge that threatens individuals, families, and nations.
In Bangladesh, the increasing availability of yaba, heroin, cannabis, and other drugs is putting many young people at risk. Addiction destroys physical and mental health, weakens moral values, and often leads to crime, violence, and social instability. As the youth are the nation's greatest asset, protecting them from drugs is essential for national development.
While government action and law enforcement are important, a strong social movement is equally necessary. Families must provide guidance and supervision, educational institutions should promote awareness, and community leaders, religious institutions, and the media must actively discourage drug abuse.
A drug-free society can only be achieved through collective responsibility and active participation. Together, we can build a healthier, safer, and more prosperous Bangladesh for future generations.
