National Life Insurance okays 37pc cash dividend

 
National Life Insurance Company Limited held its 41st Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually on Tuesday, where shareholders approved a 37 percent cash dividend for the year ended 2025.

The meeting was chaired by Chairman Tofazzal Hossain.
Among those present were directors Matiur Rahman, S I Chowdhury, Brig Gen (Retd) Md Masud Hossain, Mamunur Rashid and Dr Shamim Khan. Chief Executive Officer Md Kazim Uddin, Deputy Managing Director Khasru Chowdhury, and Deputy Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer Prabir Chandra Das, FCA, also attended the meeting.

A large number of shareholders joined the virtual AGM. In their remarks, shareholders thanked the board of directors and the management for the company's recent progress and achievements.

The meeting unanimously approved the company's 2025 balance sheet and endorsed a 37 percent cash dividend, equivalent to Tk 3.70 per share on each ordinary share with a face value of Tk 10.

In his closing remarks, Chairman Tofazzal Hossain expressed gratitude to the shareholders, directors and sponsors for their continued support. He also voiced optimism that the company would sustain its growth and continue its forward journey in the years ahead.
