Dear Sir,
Primary schools are the foundation of Bangladesh’s education system, where children develop basic knowledge, moral values, good manners and discipline.
However, recent videos going viral in the media have raised concerns about inappropriate conduct in some schools. In one incident, a teacher was seen asking a student to massage her feet, while another appeared to be using a mobile phone during school hours. Such behaviour is unethical, unprofessional and harmful to the learning environment. It also may negatively affect students’ character, weaken public confidence in teachers, and discourage some parents from enrolling their children in primary schools.
Therefore, I respectfully urge the relevant authorities to investigate these incidents impartially, ensure accountability, and take appropriate action against those found responsible. Upholding discipline, professionalism and ethical standards is essential to ensuring quality primary education and building a responsible future generation.
