The Meteorological Office has said that gusty winds of up to 60 kilometers per hour are likely to blow in some parts of the country by 9 am. There is also a risk of rain or thundershowers.
This information was given in the weather forecast given by the Meteorological Department for the country's inland river ports from 9 pm on Saturday (July 11) to 9 am the next day, i.e. Sunday (July 12).
The bulletin said that temporary gusty or squally winds of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour from the south or southeast may blow over the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna, Tangail, Mymensingh, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Sylhet.
There is a possibility of rain or thundershowers in these areas. Therefore, river ports in these areas have been asked to display naval warning signal number 1.
The Meteorological Department also said that moderate to heavy rainfall is likely to occur at some places across the country. Day and night temperatures are likely to remain almost unchanged across the country.
