2 more die of Dengue, 327 newly infected

Two more people have died after being infected with Dengue fever. At the same time, 327 people have been newly infected.

This information was shared in a message from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Monday (July 13).

According to DGHS, in the last 24 hours, one person each died in Dhaka and Chattogram. Their ages were between 26 and 35 years and both were women. With this, a total of 27 people have died of Dengue so far this year.

In addition, 8,650 people have been admitted to hospitals with Dengue so far. Among them, 7,800 people have been discharged.

Currently, 823 patients remain admitted to different hospitals. Among them, the highest numbers of 296 patients are receiving treatment in Dhaka division.

Analyzing the data of the deceased, it was found that among the total 27 deaths, 15 were women or 55.6 percent, and 12 were men or 44.4 percent.
