Another child has reported dead from measles-like symptoms in the last 24 hours. This raises the total death toll from measles to 759.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has classified the latest casualty as suspected.
Meanwhile, total number of suspected measles deaths has reached 665, but confirmed deaths remain unchanged at 94 as no new cases were confirmed.
In Sunamganj of Sylhet, the single death was recorded.
A total of 896 suspected measles cases were recorded in the 24 hours till Monday morning, taking the overall suspected case tally to 112,376.
During the same period, 113 new confirmed measles cases were reported, bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 13,613.
Since March 15, 2026, a total of 95,196 suspected measles patients have been hospitalized across the country, of whom 91,483 have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, according to the DGHS.
