HSC examinees protesting for demands have reiterated their demand regarding the resignation of Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Haque Milan. They declared that protest will not stop until Minister steps down.

On Thursday, a group of students called for a press conference and announced their decision at the capital’s Science Lab intersection.

Md Rayan, an HSC examinee from Dhanmondi Ideal College, stated at the briefing that they postponed Thursday's protest considering the rain and public suffering.

The students clarified that they are not protesting against the government but are seeking its cooperation. They alleged that despite being aware of the situation, the Education Minister is creating uncertainty over the future of an entire batch.

When asked about a Facebook page named 'Broiler Chicken Party' that went viral on social media, the protestors denied any links to it.

‘We are not here to do politics. We have taken to the streets for our logical demands. Our movement will continue until our demands are met,’ they stated.

Demands of the protesters include, pass mark must be calculated through combining MCQ and CQ scores together and re-examination for those who could not attend due to unavoidable circumstances. Lastly, they repeated their demand for the resignation of the Education Minister.
