Documentary on Khurshid Alam to air

A documentary highlighting the life and musical journey of eminent singer Mohammad Khurshid Alam has been produced by media personality Shaikh Siraj.

Titled 'Hridoye Ki Sur Baje', the documentary chronicles the veteran artiste's long career, featuring his memories, struggles, achievements and contributions to Bangladesh's music industry. It also offers a glimpse into his personal life and lesser-known stories alongside his musical legacy.

Khurshid Alam, known for his cheerful personality and lifelong passion for music, will celebrate his 81st birthday on August 1, 2026.

The documentary will be aired on Channel i at 5:40pm on August 1 to mark the occasion.
