Bangladesh has recorded four more deaths with measles symptoms over the past 24 hours, while health authorities confirmed 130 new measles infections.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the latest deaths have raised the nationwide toll of people who have died with measles symptoms to 702.
The figures were published in the DGHS daily bulletin on Tuesday, covering the 24-hour period from 8am on Monday.
The health authorities have been releasing daily measles updates since Mar 15. The health directorate said the total number of confirmed deaths from measles now stands at 95.
Dhaka Division has recorded the highest number of deaths with measles symptoms at 303, followed by Sylhet with 103.�"bdnews24
