DNA tests ordered for two more

A court in Cumilla has ordered DNA tests for two more individuals as part of the investigation into the widely discussed murder of Sohagi Jahan Tonu.

The order was issued on July 16 by Senior Assistant Judicial Magistrate Mominul Haque of the Cumilla Sadar Court. However, the development was confirmed on Tuesday by Sadequr Rahman, inspector at the office of the Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court in Cumilla.

The two individuals are former army personnel Zahidul Islam, 41, of Meghai village in Kazipur upazila of Sirajganj, and Faisal Ahmed Rabbi, 32, of the Lakkhinagar-Rajapur area under Cumilla Sadar South upazila.
