One more dies of dengue

One more person has died from Aedes mosquito-borne dengue fever in Bangladesh, raising the death toll from the disease to 40 so far this year.

An additional 439 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of patients currently undergoing treatment to 1,103.

The information was disclosed on Saturday in a statement issued by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
