Bangladesh Emerging team departs for South Africa without named captain

The Bangladesh Emerging team has left for South Africa for a series of one-day and four-day matches without a designated captain, with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) opting not to name a skipper in its 15-member squad.

BCB officials said the decision was intentional, raising the possibility of appointing a different captain for each match. The tour begins on July 30, with Bangladesh’s opening match against South Africa Emerging on August 1.
