New KAU VC assumes office

KHULNA, July 29: Newly appointed Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Khulna Agricultural University (KAU), Prof Dr Md Asaduzzaman Sarkar, formally assumed office on Tuesday afternoon.

After taking charge, Prof Sarkar reviewed the university’s administrative activities and exchanged views with teachers, officers and employees. 

He called on all stakeholders to work together to further strengthen the university’s academic, research, innovation and administrative activities.

He said KAU is a promising institution for higher agricultural education and research in the country. He pledged to work with utmost sincerity to enhance the quality of education and research, expand international collaboration, promote technology-driven agricultural education and develop students into skilled human resources.
