Two found dead at Fakirhat

FAKIRHAT, BAGERHAT, Aug 9: A fish farm worker and a child were found in two separate incidents in Fakirhat Upazila of the district on Sunday. 

Police said that Ayub Ali Khan, 61, a fish farm worker of Bachchu Molla and the son of late Mubarak Ali Khan of Dakua area in Bakerganj Upazila of Barishal District, was found dead in the Mulghar area of the upazila at around 9 am. On receiving the information, Fakirhat Model Police Station (PS) prepared an inquest report and recovered the body.

On the other hand, a child named Rakib Sheikh, 5, son of Rabbi Sheikh of Paikpara Village in Fakirhat Sadar Union, was found dead in a dung pit filled with rainwater in the courtyard of his house around noon. Later, family members took him to Fakirhat Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor on duty confirmed his death.

Officer-in-Charge of Fakirhat Model PS Sheikh Saiful Islam confirmed the deaths.
