Meet on law & order held in Rajbari

RAJBARI, Aug 9: The monthly law and order committee meeting was held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) on Sunday morning, presided over by DC Afroza Parveen and moderated by District Magistrate Uchhen May.

The speakers at the meeting called for the administration, law and order forces, public representatives and conscious citizens to take coordinated initiatives to prevent the spread of drugs. In addition, emphasis was placed on making the youth aware of the dangers of drugs and further accelerating preventive activities.

Among others, the meeting was attended by Zilla Parishad Administrator Md Abdus Salam, District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Manjur Morshed, District Civil Surgeon Dr S M Masud, Deputy Director (DD) of Sadar Hospital Dr Sheikh Abdul Hannan, Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Affairs Officer Md Abdul Majid, DD of the Department of Social Services Mohammad Abu Saleh Mohammad Ali Ahsan, Assistant Commissioner Dr Ashiquzzaman, President of Rajbari Press Club Kazi Abdul Quddus and District Women’s Affairs Officer Md Ajmir Hossain.
