227 Bangladeshis deported from Canada in 6 months

An updated statistic of Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) revealed shocking data that 227 Bangladeshi individuals have been deported from Canada in the past six months.
According to CBSA statistic, Bangladesh placed 7th on the list of deportees. A total of 10,607 foreign citizens from numerous countries have been removed or deported from Canada.
India topped the list as 3,323 of its citizens were deported back to their native land. Mentionable, India topped this list for the first time since 2020, as Mexico dropped down.
1,573 Mexicans were deported, according to the list.
Previous year data shows that Canada had deported 308 citizens from Bangladesh in 2020. However, from 2021 to 2025, Bangladesh was not included in the top 10 list in subsequent years.
Canada's removal system operates primarily through three types of orders.
First, the departure order requires the person to leave Canada voluntarily within 30 days, and if they do not leave within the stipulated time, it automatically converts to a deportation order.
Second, an exclusion order prohibits entry into Canada for a specified period of time, such as one to five years.
Third, a deportation order permanently prohibits entry into Canada, but may later be relaxed with special written permission from the Canadian government.
Following a recent surge in the number of temporary residents and international migrants, the Canadian government has been reshaping its immigration policy, tightening regulations and enforcements while reducing the number of citizens eligible for temporary resident-ship.
