Child dies in Pangsha wall collapse

RAJBARI, Aug 22: A 7-year-old child died tragically after the wall of an under-construction building collapsed in Meghna Khamarpara Village of Pangsha Upazila of the district on Saturday morning.

Officer-in-Charge of Pangsha Police Station Mainul Hossain said that the Soad was the son of Muktar Hossain of the village.

Family sources said that Soad was playing near his house around 10 am. At that time, the wall of a building suddenly collapsed on his head. He was seriously injured. 

He was later taken to Khoksha Upazila Health Complex by locals, where the doctor on duty declared him dead. It is known that he died on the way to the hospital.

An unnatural death case has been filed with Pangsha Police Station in this connection.
