Iran ready to fight for '20 generations': Iranian army chief

TEHRAN, Aug 24: The Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian army, Major General Amir Hatami, says the country is ready to fight for “the [next] 10 generations or 20 generations” to stop foreign actors and other enemies from “reshaping their homeland”, state broadcaster Press TV reports.

Hatami adds that using force is the only way to “make the enemy understand that it cannot do whatever it wants”.

Hatami emphasized that enemies, above all the United States and Israel, have not stopped conspiring and hatching plots against Iran even though they failed to attain their goals in the latest unprovoked war of aggression on the Islamic Republic.�"AGENCIES
