2027 SSC exams rescheduled to Mar 14

Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations of 2027 have been deferred and under new decision, exams would commence from March 14 next year.

The decision was finalized during a meeting at the Ministry of Education on Monday (August 24) afternoon.

Prof Syed Akteruzzaman, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, confirmed the development.

According to the rescheduled routine, exams will start from March 14, 2027 until April 15. However, the previous routine stated SSC exams would begin from January 7.

In May this year, Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milan announced the dates for the 2027 SSC examinations during a press conference at the Secretariat. Under the initial tentative schedule released then, the examinations were set to start on January 7 and conclude on February 6.
