Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will visit Türkiye in November to attend the UN Climate Change Conference (COP31).
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir announced the upcoming visit during a meeting with Türkiye's Deputy Foreign Minister Musa Kulaklikaya on Thursday. The discussion took place on the sidelines of the 23rd OIC Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, representatives from both nations exchanged views on various regional issues and expressed their readiness to work closely on matters of mutual interest.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral cooperation while highlighting a shared interest in expanding ties across trade, investment, diplomacy, and other vital sectors.
They also emphasized elevating the relationship between Bangladesh and Türkiye to a higher level.
Humayun Kabir officially informed the Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will travel to Türkiye to participate in the upcoming COP summit.
