The second installment of the popular series 'Bohemian Horse', starring Mosharraf Karim, is set to return. Titled 'Bohemian Horse 2', the sequel will be jointly directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury and his wife, filmmaker Mushfika Masud.
The series, based on the unusual life story of truck driver Abbas, created a strong buzz among viewers with its first installment.
Shooting for the new season is scheduled to begin in December this year. The upcoming installment will feature a new setting, with Mushfika Masud joining the original director Amitabh Reza Chowdhury as co-director. The production team is currently working on coordinating the schedules of the cast.
Mosharraf Karim, who received widespread praise for his portrayal of truck driver Abbas in the first installment, will reprise the role. Several actors from the previous season including Robena Reza Jui, Runa Khan, Tanzika Amin, Moushumi Hamid, Sadia Ayman, Farhana Hamid, Asma Ul Husna and Sarah Jebin are also expected to return.
However, some changes may be made to the cast, with new faces likely to join the project depending on the story.
The first installment, which explored the truck driver’s complicated relationships and dramatic life, received a strong response on the OTT platform. Viewers will now be watching to see what the new season, with its joint direction and potential casting changes, brings to the story.
