Nachiketa pauses performance after scolding fan over videography

Nachiketa Chakraborty, a popular singer across both Bengals, has become the center of discussions following the viral video posted by one of his fans on social media.

As seen in the video, Nachiketa paused his performance because a woman in the audience kept recording his performance through her mobile phone. He asked her to stop recording and told her “You came here to listen to music. Please don’t do this. I feel insulted.”

He said that it is not right to keep recording when many people have invested their money to watch the show and listen to him singing live.

The incident received support from most of the social media users who felt that people nowadays are more interested in recording videos and selfies rather than watching the live performances.

But some people argued that people who invest in purchasing the tickets should be allowed to do anything without disturbing anyone else.
